In February 2025, a solar energy system was setup on the rooftop of our office in Pirna. It has been six months now that our solar plant has been producing electricity for our consumption and fed excess electricity back into the local grid. Since half a year, the solar plant has been generating 125.66 MWh energy. 32 % of the produced solar energy were used for local consumption. The overhead was sold back to the grid. 49 % of our total consumption were from green energy, as the sun is not shining every day.

We believe that our immediate and straightforward action on renewable electricity will have an impact on our environment and society. Importantly, we will expand the installation of the solar panels on our rooftop in future. We are actively working on our sustainability strategies and will keep you updated. D.I.S goes green!
