D.I.S Germany was founded in 2018 with a team of experts with know-how in electron and ion beam technology and the high-precision manufacturing of complicated parts and assemblies. D.I.S uses this knowledge for the development and production of sophisticated and complex devices for applications in analytics, medicine, ion irradiation/implantation, as well as for R & D solutions and beyond.

2019: The team moves to a temporary site in Kesselsdorf near Dresden featuring 800 m2 of office and laboratory space.

2019-2022: The growing team of design engineers, electrical engineers and physicists develops an increasing portfolio of products, such as ion sources, ion optics and ion diagnostics up to complete and complex ion irradiation and implantation facilities.

2022: Groundbreaking of the European Research and Development Center (ERDC) with an office area of 1300 m2 and connected production halls of almost 5000 m2 in the industrial park Copitz-Nord in Pirna, Germany.
